Tim Murray

Tim co-founded Purcell Murray with his partner and great friend, Larry Purcell, in 1981. Tim has worked in the appliance industry his entire life working both for his father as a young boy in the family-owned appliance store in Wisconsin, Murray Electric, to today where he works with his three children in this family-owned business as well as with his wife Elaine identifying new design and product trends as well as designing Purcell Murray's showrooms and trade show booths. Tim has a strong passion for sales and marketing and is most at home spending time with customers and vendors and hatching new product concepts.
Larry Purcell, CPA
Vice President

Larry co-founded Purcell Murray with Tim Murray in 1981 when prime was 20.5%! Thirty of Larry's 43 years in the appliance industry have involved the financial and operational side of the business with Purcell Murray. He remains true to his belief that it is a people-people world, where a man's word is his bond. Larry is most proud of how the Purcell Murray management team partners with its vendors.
Matt Murray
Managing Director
Joined: 2006
Matt has the privilege of working closely with a very talented and dedicated group of directors to collectively manage the day-to-day activities of the Company. He also values the Company's relationships with all of its vendors, customers, and other key partners. Matt spent the first ten years of his career working in private equity, investment banking, and consulting with stints at The Carlyle Group, Robertson Stephens, and Accenture in San Francisco and London. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame with majors in Finance as well as Computer Applications. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and three children.
Mike Maramba
Director – Operations
Joined: 1989
Mike leads the Operations team at Purcell Murray, which includes Order Management, Purchasing, Warehouse/Distribution, and Service and each of which is also led by a strong and experienced manager. Prior to joining Purcell Murray, Mike worked for Pacific Home Products as an Outside Sales Rep. He currently lives in Foster City with his wife and their two sons and daughter which happen to be triplets! Mike holds a  Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines.
Laura Clifton
Builder Sales Division
General Sales Manager
Laura started her career in the building industry selling kitchen appliances in 2002. She graduated from CSULB with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Laura has been heavily involved in the Home Building Association volunteering her time with Home Aid and councils. She brings great expertise in high density, single family and podium projects. Laura has worked closely with Designers, Architects, General Contractors as well as medium to large scale Developers. Her knowledge of Purcell Murray brands and the building industry offers builders insight to the current trends and design. Laura has a passion for the building industry and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Kevin Murray
Director – Marketing
Joined: 2001

Kevin's career at Purcell Murray began in the warehouse, where he spent summer breaks from university working his way up alongside his brother, Matt, and childhood friend, Kels Purcell. In 2001 Kevin joined the family business as a Territory Manager. In 2005 he was promoted to Director of Marketing, where he is responsible for the company's branding, programming, pricing, and advertising campaigns. Prior to joining Purcell Murray , Kevin was the National Training Manager for ReplayTV, a Silicon Valley based tech start-up. Kevin lives in San Francisco and is an active member of the Guardsmen, a volunteer organization that provides educational and outdoor activities for inner-city youth.

Anne Murray Puricelli
Director – La Cornue
Joined: 2004

Anne leads the La Cornue business for Purcell Murray. With a dedicated team to assist in the management of the brand, Anne is responsible for all aspects of La Cornue within the North American market, including the sales & marketing program, retail dealer network, service and product offering. Prior to joining Purcell Murray, Anne worked in Marketing for Leading Hotels of the World and Bank of America Securities in New York. She returned to the Bay Area to join the family business in 2004, and currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and two young daughters.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations & Spanish from the University of San Diego and is a member of the Luxury Marketing Council of San Francisco.

Curtis Roe, CPA
Director – Finance
Joined: 2001

Curtis leads Purcell Murray's finance, accounting, and human resource activities. This includes all customer credit, billing, supplier financial matters, financial reporting, and company staffing.

He is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a non-practicing CPA who earned his certified status while at the firm Hood and Strong in San Francisco. He has managed accounting for several Silicon Valley companies in both the public and private ownership sectors.
